Custom Scent Consultation
- Consultation: The process usually begins with a consultation between the perfumer and the client. During this session, the client discusses their fragrance preferences, including preferred notes, intensity, mood, and any specific memories or inspirations they want to evoke with the perfume.
- Scent Selection: Based on the client's preferences, the perfumer selects a range of fragrance notes, which can include base notes, middle notes and top notes.
- Blend Creation: Using their expertise in fragrance composition, the perfumer carefully blends the selected notes in precise proportions. This process requires both artistic creativity and technical skill to ensure that the resulting fragrance is well-balanced and pleasing to the client.
- Testing and Adjustments: After creating the initial blend, the client is given the opportunity to test the perfume oil on their skin. They can provide feedback on the scent's longevity, sillage (the trail of scent left behind), and overall impression. Based on this feedback, the perfumer may make adjustments to the blend to better meet the client's expectations.
- Finalization: Once the client is satisfied with the scent, the perfumer finalizes the blend and prepares the custom-made perfume oil for bottling. The blend can be purchased as a straight perfume oil, an eau de toilette spray perfume, or used to scent any of our unscented body products.
